My good friend Harry Hunch has taught me some valuable lessons over the years. For example, Harry taught me that a 1 is as rare as a 10, and therefore should be equally fulfilling. Gross.
He’s taught me that you should stubbornly stick to your word, even if that means losing a few friends and televisions along the way. That’s a story for another day.
But, neither of those lessons are going to make us feel better right now after a billion straight L’s. So more importantly Harry has taught me that water always finds it level. Right now, our water level is low AF and there is only one way to go from here.
We have a real-life football game tonight, if that doesn’t get you jacked up I don’t know what will.
I’m staying away from betting either side of this one as I have no idea who I like with Big Dick Nick at the helm for the Eagles.
So we’ll go a different route.
The last time these two teams played was the 2017 NFC divisional round. The Eagles won 15-10 in an ugly one, the game total ended at just 25. 20 points shy of tonight’s expected total.
I expect something similar in this one. The Eagles offense is going to look ugly, the Falcons will stick to the run game, and both sides will play some lock down Defense.
Per sources, the under is 9-3-1 in the last 13 meetings between the Eagles and Falcons. My source is the internet, I trust it.
