Well I’ve cracked the code. Goodell’s brain is so predictable that cracking that code isn’t much to brag about. But we can still take my findings and make some serious money.
Let’s look closer at the last 8 MVP’s.
- 2010: Tom Brady
- 2011: Aaron Rodgers
- 2012: Adrian Peterson
- 2013: Peyton Manning
- 2014: Aaron Rodgers
- 2015: Cam Newton
- 2016: Matt Ryan
- 2017: Tom Brady
See a pattern here? No? Let’s look a little closer:
After studying this list, it becomes clear that in 2010, in order to silence claims of being a racist, Goodell decided that every 3 years he would award the MVP to a black player. Seems even more racist to me, but to each his own!
Now that we have unlocked his secret and can eliminate all the white guys from the running, let’s take a look at 4 of the real candidates for the 2018 MVP award.
Cam Newton +1460
In the last 25 years only one MVP winner as hailed from a team with 9 wins. Vegas has the Panthers at 9 wins and I don’t even think they get there. So, Cam is out.
Dak +2960 or Zeke +1960
The Cowboys recent strength has been their O-Line. In the last few weeks their line has crumbled due to injury and this has all of a sudden become a liability in Dallas. No way they get to 9 wins. So, both Cowboys are out.
Saquon Barkley +4960
Those odds…
Vegas has the Giants at 7.5 wins. So they’ll have to make some magic happen if Saquon is going to be able to make a run at the MVP. But if they are indeed able to find 9 or 10 wins, it’ll be on the back of Saquon Barkley. Well, his legs. Have you seen his legs? Eli’s sure not going to win it, and a wide receiver has never won it, so that leaves our guy. Also, his legs..
